The Optimum Wellness Child Care Learning Center (CCLC) is designed to empower and enable our children to enrich their learning. They work on academic skills by doing different activities during the school-day with access to our CCLC resources, facilitating creativity, explorimentation and discovery of new ideas.

At the Optimum Wellness Multipurpose Center, we are determined that affordable child care is a systemic primary barrier to moving women out of poverty and into economic self-sufficiency. Our CCLC is specifically intended to alleviate this systemic issue negatively impacting low-income women.

We have determined that through our CCLC, not only will low-income women move into economic self-sufficiency. The state’s workforce will be strengthened and the economy improved Increased access to childcare will allow parents to contribute more to the workforce and their own finances through fewer childcare disruptions such as unemployment, missed workdays and to support their families; stay employed longer
and at higher rates; and use less public assistance.

Our CCLC will help remove other barriers that are holding women back and in the cycle of systemic poverty. Our CCLC program will help women and girls obtain higher education levels and job training that include wrap around services that take into account the multitude of daily barriers that women and girls in poverty face. We know that women and girls in Atlanta can be successful if given the opportunities without being fettered by those poverty-related barriers.

The Optimum Wellness Multipurpose Center has determined that affordable child care is also a systemic barrier facing ex-prisoners who are seeking gainful employment. Both men and women. Being able to get affordable child care assistance may make or break whether or not many felons are able to hold down a job. The Optimum Wellness Multipurpose Child Care Learning Center will work in collaboration with the many child care assistance programs offer affordable child care for ex-prisoners as well.
